KEC INTERNATIONAL share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 920.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,859.5 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (up 2.2%) and SKF India (up 1.5%).

Finolex Cables (down 0.6%) and Thermax (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KEC INTERNATIONAL has moved up from Rs 552.0 to Rs 920.3, registering a gain of Rs 368.3 (up 66.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,563.3 to 72,859.5, registering a gain of 84.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 256.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 185.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 153.4%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,578.4 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (down 0.8%) and TCS (down 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,850.1 (down 0.1%). Tech Mahindra and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,578.4, registering a gain of 15,608.4 points (up 24.8%).

KEC INTERNATIONAL Financial Update...

KEC INTERNATIONAL net profit grew 110.3% YoY to Rs 1,518 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 722 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.6% to Rs 61,648 million during the period as against Rs 55,250 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, KEC INTERNATIONAL reported 47.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,760 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,321 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 25.8% to Rs 172,817 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KEC INTERNATIONAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 68.2.
