KAMDHENU ISPAT Plunges 5%; BSE METAL Index Down 0.6%

KAMDHENU ISPAT share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 596.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,944.6 (down 0.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are Vedanta (down 1.9%) and Hindustan Zinc (down 1.8%).

APOLLO TUBES (up 0.2%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, KAMDHENU ISPAT has moved up from Rs 307.3 to Rs 596.5, registering a gain of Rs 289.2 (up 94.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,528.2 to 30,944.6, registering a gain of 31.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 81.1%), Coal India (up 75.4%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 49.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,964.7 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (up 2.0%) and ITC (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,066.5 (up 0.1%). Bajaj Auto and Asian Paints are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,127.1 to 81,964.7, registering a gain of 14,837.7 points (up 22.1%).

KAMDHENU ISPAT Financial Update...

KAMDHENU ISPAT net profit grew 28.0% YoY to Rs 154 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 121 million a year ago. Net sales declined 11.5% to Rs 1,845 million during the period as against Rs 2,086 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, KAMDHENU ISPAT reported 22.2% increase in net profit to Rs 501 million compared to net profit of Rs 410 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 1.0% to Rs 7,247 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KAMDHENU ISPAT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.9.
