Jyoti Structure Plunges 4%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.6%

Jyoti Structure share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 24.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,513.4 (down 0.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SKF India (down 3.4%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 2.2%).

V GUARD IND. (up 5.9%) and AIA Engineering (up 0.9%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Jyoti Structure has moved up from Rs 11.4 to Rs 24.7, registering a gain of Rs 13.3 (up 116.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,332.6 to 71,513.4, registering a gain of 65.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 185.7%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 139.0%) and Bharat Electronics (up 125.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,064.1 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.5%) and TCS (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Infosys.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,157.1 (up 0.1%). TCS and M&M are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 79,064.1, registering a gain of 13,662.1 points (up 20.9%).

Jyoti Structure Financial Update...

Jyoti Structure net profit grew 107.2% YoY to Rs 51 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 25 million a year ago. Net sales declined 52.3% to Rs 883 million during the period as against Rs 1,852 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Jyoti Structure reported 808.6% increase in net profit to Rs 289 million compared to net loss of Rs 41 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 96.9% to Rs 4,514 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Jyoti Structure, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 68.3.
