Johnson Controls share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,924.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 60,027.1 (down 2.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (down 4.5%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (down 4.2%).

Over the last one year, Johnson Controls has moved up from Rs 1,079.0 to Rs 1,924.0, registering a gain of Rs 845.0 (up 78.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 44,308.0 to 60,027.1, registering a gain of 35.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 177.3%), Blue Star (up 107.5%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 104.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,480.3 (down 1.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (down 3.9%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,897.6 (down 1.7%). Hero Motocorp and Bajaj Auto are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 78,480.3, registering a gain of 14,605.4 points (up 22.9%).

Johnson Controls Financial Update...

Johnson Controls net profit grew 46.7% YoY to Rs -301 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 564 million a year ago. Net sales rose 41.5% to Rs 3,963 million during the period as against Rs 2,802 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Johnson Controls reported 7.8% increase in net profit to Rs -757 million compared to net loss of Rs 821 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 19.5% to Rs 19,187 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Johnson Controls, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 188.2.
