Johnson Controls share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 2,176.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 67,920.8 (down 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (up 1.0%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 0.3%).

ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 1.7%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Johnson Controls has moved up from Rs 1,220.4 to Rs 2,176.1, registering a gain of Rs 955.7 (up 78.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,147.0 to 67,920.8, registering a gain of 47.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 189.7%), Blue Star (up 124.2%) and Voltas (up 118.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,807.6 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (down 2.8%) and Tata Motors (down 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,891.4 (down 0.2%). LTIMINDTREE and Tech Mahindra are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 84,807.6, registering a gain of 18,783.9 points (up 28.5%).

Johnson Controls Financial Update...

Johnson Controls net profit grew 188.1% YoY to Rs 362 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 410 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.6% to Rs 9,960 million during the period as against Rs 5,672 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Johnson Controls reported 7.8% increase in net profit to Rs -757 million compared to net loss of Rs 821 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 19.5% to Rs 19,187 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Johnson Controls, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4081.2.
