Jindal Drill Gains 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.8%

Jindal Drill share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 850.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,700.3 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 21.0%) and Graphite India (up 3.2%).

V GUARD IND. (down 0.9%) and BHEL (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Jindal Drill has moved up from Rs 796.9 to Rs 850.6, registering a gain of Rs 53.7 (up 6.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,868.6 to 70,700.3, registering a gain of 44.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 117.8%), Siemens (up 107.7%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 95.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,802.8 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (up 4.4%) and Sun Pharma (up 2.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,123.7 (up 0.9%). Bharti Airtel and Sun Pharma are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 79,802.8, registering a gain of 13,628.6 points (up 20.6%).

Jindal Drill Financial Update...

Jindal Drill net profit fell 48.7% YoY to Rs 158 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 309 million a year ago. Net sales rose 21.4% to Rs 1,725 million during the period as against Rs 1,421 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Jindal Drill reported 47.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 511 million compared to net profit of Rs 969 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 20.5% to Rs 6,170 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Jindal Drill, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 24.2.
