JSL STAINLESS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 704.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,845.8 (down 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (down 1.5%) and NMDC (down 1.4%).

Hindustan Zinc (up 1.1%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, JSL STAINLESS has moved up from Rs 468.0 to Rs 704.0, registering a gain of Rs 236.0 (up 50.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,655.6 to 32,845.8, registering a gain of 38.9% during the last 12 months.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,428.1 to 81,208.8, registering a gain of 14,780.7 points (up 22.3%).

JSL STAINLESS Financial Update...

JSL STAINLESS net profit fell 19.5% YoY to Rs 6,092 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 7,566 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.2% to Rs 97,768 million during the period as against Rs 97,970 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, JSL STAINLESS reported 29.3% increase in net profit to Rs 26,935 million compared to net profit of Rs 20,838 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 8.0% to Rs 385,625 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JSL STAINLESS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 23.8.
