J.B.Chemicals share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,880.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 43,838.2 (down 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Sun Pharma (down 3.1%) and CAPLIN POINT (down 2.8%).

MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (up 2.7%) and KIMS (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, J.B.Chemicals has moved up from Rs 1,398.7 to Rs 1,880.0, registering a gain of Rs 481.4 (up 34.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,271.8 to 43,838.2, registering a gain of 60.7% during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 79,073.2 (down 1.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Sun Pharma (down 3.1%) and Infosys (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,076.7 (down 0.9%). Bajaj Auto and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 79,073.2, registering a gain of 15,198.2 points (up 23.8%).

J.B.Chemicals Financial Update...

J.B.Chemicals net profit grew 24.2% YoY to Rs 1,768 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,423 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.1% to Rs 10,044 million during the period as against Rs 8,962 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, J.B.Chemicals reported 34.8% increase in net profit to Rs 5,526 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,100 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 10.6% to Rs 34,842 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of J.B.Chemicals, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 49.7.
