JAI BALAJI INDUS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 886.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,453.2 (up 0.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are Coal India (down 1.4%) and Hindustan Zinc (down 0.7%).

APOLLO TUBES (up 1.9%) and Jindal Steel (up 1.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, JAI BALAJI INDUS has moved up from Rs 610.3 to Rs 886.0, registering a gain of Rs 275.8 (up 45.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,633.2 to 30,453.2, registering a gain of 28.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 89.5%), Hindustan Zinc (up 65.2%) and Jindal Steel (up 36.8%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 3.1%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,193.0 (down 0.1%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.2 to 80,004.1, registering a gain of 13,980.8 points (up 21.2%).

JAI BALAJI INDUS Financial Update...

JAI BALAJI INDUS net profit fell 24.0% YoY to Rs 1,532 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,016 million a year ago. Net sales rose 0.6% to Rs 15,566 million during the period as against Rs 15,466 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, JAI BALAJI INDUS reported 1421.1% increase in net profit to Rs 8,796 million compared to net profit of Rs 578 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 4.7% to Rs 64,138 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAI BALAJI INDUS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 18.6.
