JAGSON PHAR share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 375.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 41,148.2 (up 0.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are DR. LAL PATHLABS (down 1.8%) and FDC (down 1.5%).

Abbott India (up 3.5%) and ALEMBIC PHARMA (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, JAGSON PHAR has moved down from Rs 439.9 to Rs 375.6, registering a loss of Rs 64.4 (down 14.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,300.0 to 41,148.2, registering a gain of 45.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 116.8%), GSK Pharma (up 107.8%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 105.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,177.5 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 2.2%) and Asian Paints (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,197.2 (down 0.4%). BPCL and Infosys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,177.5, registering a gain of 13,224.0 points (up 20.1%).

JAGSON PHAR Financial Update...

JAGSON PHAR net profit fell 28.7% YoY to Rs 53 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 75 million a year ago. Net sales rose 2.1% to Rs 614 million during the period as against Rs 602 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, JAGSON PHAR reported 41.7% increase in net profit to Rs 267 million compared to net profit of Rs 189 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 8.8% to Rs 2,367 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAGSON PHAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 48.9.
