J Kumar Infra Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.4%

J Kumar Infra share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 871.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,020.3 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 1.2%) and Phoenix Mill (up 0.3%).

Brigade Enterprises (down 1.3%) and Sobha (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, J Kumar Infra has moved up from Rs 392.0 to Rs 871.5, registering a gain of Rs 479.5 (up 122.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,333.7 to 8,020.3, registering a gain of 85.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 199.3%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 186.5%) and Phoenix Mill (up 98.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,419.5 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (down 1.8%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,274.7 (down 0.4%). Adani Enterprises and NTPC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,846.5 to 79,419.5, registering a gain of 13,573.0 points (up 20.6%).

J Kumar Infra Financial Update...

J Kumar Infra net profit grew 18.7% YoY to Rs 864 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 728 million a year ago. Net sales rose 13.3% to Rs 12,815 million during the period as against Rs 11,313 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, J Kumar Infra reported 33.3% increase in net profit to Rs 2,744 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,059 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 19.2% to Rs 42,031 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of J Kumar Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.3.
