Ingersoll Rand share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 4,170.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,985.2 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are AIA Engineering (up 2.7%) and Thermax (up 2.0%).

Siemens (down 1.9%) and Carborundum Universal (down 1.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Ingersoll Rand has moved up from Rs 2,977.5 to Rs 4,170.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,192.5 (up 40.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,182.8 to 71,985.2, registering a gain of 66.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 212.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 152.7%) and Bharat Electronics (up 133.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,287.6 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 1.5%) and JSW Steel (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,235.2 (down 0.3%). Infosys and JSW Steel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,287.6, registering a gain of 13,334.1 points (up 20.2%).

Ingersoll Rand Financial Update...

Ingersoll Rand net profit fell 4.8% YoY to Rs 639 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 671 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.2% to Rs 3,036 million during the period as against Rs 3,044 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Ingersoll Rand reported 21.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2,224 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,826 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 5.5% to Rs 12,137 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Ingersoll Rand, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 59.2.
