Indraprastha Gas share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 522.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 30,230.2 (up 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GUJARAT GAS (down 1.2%) and Petronet LNG (down 0.9%).

HPCL (up 1.3%) and BPCL (up 1.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Indraprastha Gas has moved up from Rs 458.3 to Rs 522.6, registering a gain of Rs 64.3 (up 14.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,580.4 to 30,230.2, registering a gain of 62.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 138.7%), BPCL (up 101.0%) and GAIL (up 87.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,833.0 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 1.9%) and HDFC Bank (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,100.2 (up 0.5%). Wipro and L&T are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,079.4 to 81,833.0, registering a gain of 15,753.6 points (up 23.8%).

Indraprastha Gas Financial Update...

Indraprastha Gas net profit fell 8.9% YoY to Rs 3,995 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,384 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.4% to Rs 38,915 million during the period as against Rs 37,619 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Indraprastha Gas reported 21.0% increase in net profit to Rs 19,834 million compared to net profit of Rs 16,397 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 1.0% to Rs 125,435 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Indraprastha Gas, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.8.
