Indiabulls Infra Plunges 4%; BSE POWER Index Up 1.8%

Indiabulls Infra share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 80.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,229.7 (up 1.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today is ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (down 2.7%).

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE (up 5.0%) and ADANI POWER (up 3.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Indiabulls Infra has moved up from Rs 47.9 to Rs 80.0, registering a gain of Rs 32.2 (up 67.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,198.7 to 8,229.7, registering a gain of 96.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 191.1%), TORRENT POWER (up 162.1%) and ADANI POWER (up 144.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,436.8 (up 1.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (up 3.9%) and M&M (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,539.2 (up 1.6%). Wipro and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,436.8, registering a gain of 15,034.9 points (up 23.0%).

Indiabulls Infra Financial Update...

Indiabulls Infra net profit grew 377.9% YoY to Rs 8,512 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,781 million a year ago. Net sales rose 69.5% to Rs 24,940 million during the period as against Rs 14,718 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Indiabulls Infra reported 151.7% decrease in net profit to Rs -2,861 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,539 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 29370.4% to Rs 41,238 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Indiabulls Infra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.1.
