ION EXCHANGE share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 678.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,243.2 (down 2.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 0.3%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 0.2%).

HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 5.2%) and ABB (down 4.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ION EXCHANGE has moved up from Rs 529.0 to Rs 678.3, registering a gain of Rs 149.4 (up 28.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,095.4 to 71,243.2, registering a gain of 51.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 111.1%), BHEL (up 101.1%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 94.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,168.7 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (up 2.7%) and Nestle (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,411.4 (up 0.1%). NTPC and Nestle are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,596.8 to 83,168.7, registering a gain of 15,571.8 points (up 23.0%).

ION EXCHANGE Financial Update...

ION EXCHANGE net profit grew 33.4% YoY to Rs 444 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 333 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.4% to Rs 5,676 million during the period as against Rs 4,792 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, ION EXCHANGE reported 0.2% increase in net profit to Rs 1,954 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,950 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 18.0% to Rs 23,478 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ION EXCHANGE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 48.5.
