INOX WIND ENERGY share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 7,897.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,222.3 (down 4.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (down 7.9%) and Bharat Forge (down 6.5%).

Over the last one year, INOX WIND ENERGY has moved up from Rs 2,693.8 to Rs 7,897.3, registering a gain of Rs 5,203.6 (up 193.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,869.5 to 70,222.3, registering a gain of 60.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 172.8%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 132.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 120.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,577.0 (down 3.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 6.9%) and Tata Steel (down 5.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,006.5 (down 2.9%). Tata Motors and ONGC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 78,577.0, registering a gain of 12,117.7 points (up 18.2%).

INOX WIND ENERGY Financial Update...

INOX WIND ENERGY net profit grew 135.5% YoY to Rs 389 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,095 million a year ago. Net sales rose 183.8% to Rs 5,285 million during the period as against Rs 1,862 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, INOX WIND ENERGY reported 34.1% decrease in net profit to Rs -6,647 million compared to net loss of Rs 4,956 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 23.3% to Rs 7,339 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INOX WIND ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -104.8.
