INDOWIND ENERGY Gains 10%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 1.3%

INDOWIND ENERGY share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 24.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 29,454.2 (up 1.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GAIL (up 2.0%) and Petronet LNG (up 1.9%).

ADANI TOTAL GAS (down 0.1%) and GUJARAT GAS are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INDOWIND ENERGY has moved up from Rs 10.9 to Rs 24.3, registering a gain of Rs 13.4 (up 122.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,076.7 to 29,454.2, registering a gain of 62.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 106.4%), HPCL (up 93.5%) and IOC (up 84.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 76,914.0 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 2.0%) and Bajaj Finance (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,418.9 (up 0.7%). Coal India and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 76,914.0, registering a gain of 14,189.3 points (up 22.6%).

INDOWIND ENERGY Financial Update...

INDOWIND ENERGY net profit grew 102.5% YoY to Rs 6 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 249 million a year ago. Net sales declined 1.7% to Rs 44 million during the period as against Rs 45 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, INDOWIND ENERGY reported 15217.3% decrease in net profit to Rs -193 million compared to net profit of Rs 1 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 38.3% to Rs 340 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDOWIND ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 35.9.
