INDIAN METALS Gains 4%; BSE METAL Index Up 0.0%

INDIAN METALS share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 834.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 29,734.0 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are NMDC (up 0.5%) and Coal India (up 0.5%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 1.4%) and Jindal Steel (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INDIAN METALS has moved up from Rs 492.2 to Rs 834.3, registering a gain of Rs 342.2 (up 69.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,749.1 to 29,734.0, registering a gain of 25.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 84.3%), Hindustan Zinc (up 60.0%) and Jindal Steel (up 32.4%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,434.9 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (up 1.6%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,455.1 (up 0.5%). APOLLO HOSPITALS and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,655.2 to 77,434.9, registering a gain of 11,779.8 points (up 17.9%).

INDIAN METALS Financial Update...

INDIAN METALS net profit grew 40.1% YoY to Rs 1,252 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 893 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.1% to Rs 6,919 million during the period as against Rs 6,926 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, INDIAN METALS reported 64.9% increase in net profit to Rs 3,724 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,258 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 3.9% to Rs 27,802 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDIAN METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.0.
