INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE Gains 5%; BSE POWER Index Up 1.8%Image source: ipopba/www.istockphoto.com

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 195.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,229.7 (up 1.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are ADANI POWER (up 3.7%) and Thermax (up 2.4%).

ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (down 2.7%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE has moved up from Rs 126.3 to Rs 195.0, registering a gain of Rs 68.8 (up 54.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,198.7 to 8,229.7, registering a gain of 96.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 191.1%), TORRENT POWER (up 162.1%) and ADANI POWER (up 144.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,436.8 (up 1.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (up 3.9%) and M&M (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,539.2 (up 1.6%). Wipro and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,436.8, registering a gain of 15,034.9 points (up 23.0%).

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE Financial Update...

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE net profit grew 25.1% YoY to Rs 929 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 742 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.8% to Rs 1,236 million during the period as against Rs 1,040 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE reported 14.7% increase in net profit to Rs 3,508 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,059 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.0% to Rs 4,492 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 48.5.
