INDIABULLS POWER Plunges 5%; BSE POWER Index Up 0.8%

INDIABULLS POWER share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 16.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 7,758.8 (up 0.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.8%) and ADANI POWER (down 0.5%).

BHEL (up 3.7%) and TORRENT POWER (up 3.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, INDIABULLS POWER has moved up from Rs 4.0 to Rs 16.3, registering a gain of Rs 12.3 (up 307.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 3,907.7 to 7,758.8, registering a gain of 98.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 250.1%), ADANI POWER (up 178.7%) and NHPC (up 132.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 2.3%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,333.5 (up 0.3%). ONGC and L&T are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,143.0 to 76,689.1, registering a gain of 13,546.1 points (up 21.5%).

INDIABULLS POWER Financial Update...

INDIABULLS POWER net profit grew 2307.4% YoY to Rs 106,658 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 4,832 million a year ago. Net sales rose 1.5% to Rs 9,140 million during the period as against Rs 9,006 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, INDIABULLS POWER reported 5.6% increase in net profit to Rs -18,699 million compared to net loss of Rs 19,814 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 0.9% to Rs 32,312 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDIABULLS POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 1.0.
