IFGL REFRACTORIES share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 642.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,132.1 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (up 1.6%) and Hindalco (up 0.8%).

JSW Steel (down 0.9%) and SAIL (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IFGL REFRACTORIES has moved up from Rs 501.8 to Rs 642.5, registering a gain of Rs 140.8 (up 28.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,515.5 to 33,132.1, registering a gain of 40.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 112.9%), Hindustan Zinc (up 59.7%) and Coal India (up 59.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 2.4%) and Titan (down 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,023.9 (down 0.1%). Trent and M&M are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,166.9 to 81,704.8, registering a gain of 15,537.9 points (up 23.5%).

IFGL REFRACTORIES Financial Update...

IFGL REFRACTORIES net profit fell 16.8% YoY to Rs 247 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 296 million a year ago. Net sales declined 2.2% to Rs 4,145 million during the period as against Rs 4,239 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, IFGL REFRACTORIES reported 3.1% increase in net profit to Rs 817 million compared to net profit of Rs 792 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 18.2% to Rs 16,395 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IFGL REFRACTORIES , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.2.
