Honda Power Products share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 4,089.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 63,072.9 (down 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 3.4%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 3.3%).

Blue Star (down 1.7%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Honda Power Products has moved up from Rs 2,630.3 to Rs 4,089.5, registering a gain of Rs 1,459.2 (up 55.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 43,637.4 to 63,072.9, registering a gain of 44.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 166.0%), Blue Star (up 135.7%) and Voltas (up 113.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,992.4 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (up 2.6%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,098.7 (up 0.2%). Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,996.6 to 81,992.4, registering a gain of 16,995.8 points (up 26.1%).

Honda Power Products Financial Update...

Honda Power Products net profit fell 4.4% YoY to Rs 162 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 169 million a year ago. Net sales declined 31.3% to Rs 1,442 million during the period as against Rs 2,100 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Honda Power Products reported 8.4% increase in net profit to Rs 922 million compared to net profit of Rs 851 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 20.6% to Rs 9,891 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Honda Power Products, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 45.4.
