Havells India share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,876.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 59,050.1 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 2.3%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (up 1.2%).

VAIBHAV GEMS (down 1.5%) and Titan (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Havells India has moved up from Rs 1,290.8 to Rs 1,876.5, registering a gain of Rs 585.7 (up 45.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,765.2 to 59,050.1, registering a gain of 38.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 190.0%), Blue Star (up 109.7%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 97.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,919.7 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.4%) and HDFC Bank (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,269.9 (up 0.6%). Tata Consumer Products and Kotak Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 79,919.7, registering a gain of 14,714.6 points (up 22.6%).

Havells India Financial Update...

Havells India net profit grew 24.8% YoY to Rs 4,467 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,580 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.0% to Rs 54,420 million during the period as against Rs 48,592 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Havells India reported 18.6% increase in net profit to Rs 12,708 million compared to net profit of Rs 10,717 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.9% to Rs 185,900 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Havells India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 92.5.
