HPL ELECTRIC & POWER share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 671.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 73,113.0 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (up 1.9%) and Finolex Cables (up 1.6%).

ABB (down 0.9%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HPL ELECTRIC & POWER has moved up from Rs 214.3 to Rs 671.0, registering a gain of Rs 456.7 (up 213.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (up 1.2%) and Asian Paints (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,813.8 (up 0.2%). Grasim Industries and Tata Consumer Products are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 81,010.9, registering a gain of 15,794.8 points (up 24.2%).

HPL ELECTRIC & POWER Financial Update...

HPL ELECTRIC & POWER net profit grew 145.5% YoY to Rs 170 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 69 million a year ago. Net sales rose 22.5% to Rs 3,929 million during the period as against Rs 3,207 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, HPL ELECTRIC & POWER reported 287.6% increase in net profit to Rs 302 million compared to net profit of Rs 78 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 24.5% to Rs 12,622 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HPL ELECTRIC & POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 80.3.
