HITACHI ENERGY share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 12,245.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 7,824.9 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are Siemens (up 1.0%) and KEC INTERNATIONAL (up 0.9%).

TORRENT POWER (down 1.4%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HITACHI ENERGY has moved up from Rs 4,187.2 to Rs 12,245.9, registering a gain of Rs 8,058.7 (up 192.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 3,949.4 to 7,824.9, registering a gain of 98.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 251.5%), ADANI POWER (up 188.1%) and TORRENT POWER (up 135.9%).

HITACHI ENERGY Financial Update...

HITACHI ENERGY net profit grew 123.7% YoY to Rs 1,137 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 508 million a year ago. Net sales rose 27.1% to Rs 16,953 million during the period as against Rs 13,340 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, HITACHI ENERGY reported 53.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 939 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,034 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 8.5% to Rs 44,685 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HITACHI ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 316.9.
