HINDUSTAN COPPER share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 274.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,347.0 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (up 3.7%) and NMDC (up 2.4%).

JSW Steel (down 2.8%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HINDUSTAN COPPER has moved up from Rs 158.5 to Rs 274.6, registering a gain of Rs 116.1 (up 73.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,780.3 to 30,347.0, registering a gain of 27.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 85.5%), Hindustan Zinc (up 63.9%) and Jindal Steel (up 34.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,905.8 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 3.9%) and SBI (up 3.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,194.3 (up 1.2%). ONGC and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,930.8 to 79,905.8, registering a gain of 13,975.1 points (up 21.2%).

HINDUSTAN COPPER Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN COPPER net profit grew 67.5% YoY to Rs 1,017 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 607 million a year ago. Net sales rose 35.9% to Rs 5,182 million during the period as against Rs 3,814 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, HINDUSTAN COPPER reported 0.1% increase in net profit to Rs 2,957 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,953 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 2.4% to Rs 17,170 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN COPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 65.9.
