HINDUSTAN COPPER share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 341.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,623.4 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (up 1.6%) and NMDC (up 1.0%).

JSW Steel (down 0.2%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HINDUSTAN COPPER has moved up from Rs 115.7 to Rs 341.7, registering a gain of Rs 226.0 (up 195.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 20,564.2 to 33,623.4, registering a gain of 63.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were NMDC (up 149.8%), Hindustan Zinc (up 114.0%) and Coal India (up 108.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,513.4 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 1.0%) and Ultratech Cement (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,578.6 (up 0.2%). HDFC Bank and Hindalco are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,513.4, registering a gain of 13,990.2 points (up 22.0%).

HINDUSTAN COPPER Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN COPPER net profit fell 5.6% YoY to Rs 1,248 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,322 million a year ago. Net sales rose 1.0% to Rs 5,654 million during the period as against Rs 5,598 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, HINDUSTAN COPPER reported 21.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 2,953 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,741 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 7.9% to Rs 16,773 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN COPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 111.7.
