HIKAL CHEMIC share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 342.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 36,712.0 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are GSK Pharma (up 3.9%) and ALEMBIC PHARMA (up 3.9%).

MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (down 3.0%) and Cipla (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HIKAL CHEMIC has moved up from Rs 315.3 to Rs 342.6, registering a gain of Rs 27.4 (up 8.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 25,114.1 to 36,712.0, registering a gain of 46.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Cadila Healthcare (up 92.8%), Natco Pharma (up 91.5%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 89.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,341.1 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 2.8%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,537.8 (up 0.2%). M&M and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,341.1, registering a gain of 13,817.9 points (up 21.8%).

HIKAL CHEMIC Financial Update...

HIKAL CHEMIC net profit fell 5.6% YoY to Rs 340 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 360 million a year ago. Net sales declined 5.7% to Rs 5,141 million during the period as against Rs 5,453 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, HIKAL CHEMIC reported 51.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 784 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,605 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 4.1% to Rs 20,230 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HIKAL CHEMIC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 60.7.
