HERCULES HOISTS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 212.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,455.8 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (down 1.3%) and Graphite India (down 0.7%).

HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 1.2%) and Thermax (up 0.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HERCULES HOISTS has moved down from Rs 328.0 to Rs 212.3, registering a loss of Rs 115.7 (down 35.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,111.6 to 72,455.8, registering a gain of 50.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 135.7%), Siemens (up 119.7%) and Bharat Electronics (up 111.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,769.7 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Nestle (down 1.6%) and M&M (down 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,046.6 . Nestle and M&M are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,166.9 to 81,769.7, registering a gain of 15,602.8 points (up 23.6%).

HERCULES HOISTS Financial Update...

HERCULES HOISTS net profit grew 23.5% YoY to Rs 59 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 48 million a year ago. Net sales declined 7.1% to Rs 381 million during the period as against Rs 410 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, HERCULES HOISTS reported 65.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 360 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,033 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 19.1% to Rs 1,795 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HERCULES HOISTS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 18.3.
