Guj. State Petronet share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 420.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 31,789.7 (up 2.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are BPCL (up 6.8%) and IOC (up 4.5%).

Over the last one year, Guj. State Petronet has moved up from Rs 284.7 to Rs 420.6, registering a gain of Rs 135.9 (up 47.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,977.6 to 31,789.7, registering a gain of 67.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 152.5%), BPCL (up 109.5%) and IOC (up 95.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (down 2.9%) and Bharti Airtel (down 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,185.8 (down 0.1%). Power Grid Corp. and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.7 to 85,630.2, registering a gain of 19,606.5 points (up 29.7%).

Guj. State Petronet Financial Update...

Guj. State Petronet net profit grew 21.9% YoY to Rs 5,415 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,441 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.1% to Rs 48,915 million during the period as against Rs 42,505 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Guj. State Petronet reported 6.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 21,837 million compared to net profit of Rs 23,420 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 5.0% to Rs 166,921 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Guj. State Petronet, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.4.
