Godrej Properties Gains 3%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.2%

Godrej Properties share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 3,022.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,738.0 (up 2.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Sobha (up 5.1%) and DLF (up 1.7%).

SUNTECK REALTY (down 2.1%) and Phoenix Mill (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Godrej Properties has moved up from Rs 1,434.9 to Rs 3,022.4, registering a gain of Rs 1,587.5 (up 110.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,047.8 to 8,738.0, registering a gain of 115.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 303.0%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 233.5%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 139.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 76,810.9 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 3.1%) and Titan (up 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,399.4 (up 0.3%). Shriram Transport and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 76,810.9, registering a gain of 14,086.2 points (up 22.5%).

Godrej Properties Financial Update...

Godrej Properties net profit grew 21.6% YoY to Rs 4,410 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,626 million a year ago. Net sales declined 13.4% to Rs 14,261 million during the period as against Rs 16,463 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Godrej Properties reported 77.0% increase in net profit to Rs 6,206 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,506 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 23.4% to Rs 22,523 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Godrej Properties, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 116.8.
