GRAVITA INDIA share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 2,259.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,260.3 (down 1.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are NMDC (down 2.0%) and Tata Steel (down 1.8%).

Hindustan Zinc (up 3.3%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, GRAVITA INDIA has moved up from Rs 979.4 to Rs 2,259.4, registering a gain of Rs 1,280.0 (up 130.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 23,545.7 to 32,260.3, registering a gain of 37.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 105.0%), Hindustan Zinc (up 64.8%) and Coal India (up 52.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 1.9%) and Tata Steel (down 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,719.8 (down 0.3%). Tata Motors and Tata Steel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,877.0 to 81,011.0, registering a gain of 15,134.0 points (up 23.0%).

GRAVITA INDIA Financial Update...

GRAVITA INDIA net profit grew 22.2% YoY to Rs 719 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 588 million a year ago. Net sales rose 10.9% to Rs 9,274 million during the period as against Rs 8,362 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GRAVITA INDIA reported 18.7% increase in net profit to Rs 2,423 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,041 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.9% to Rs 31,608 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAVITA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.6.
