GRAVITA INDIA share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 1,982.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,403.2 (down 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Jindal Steel (up 2.2%) and Hindalco (up 0.9%).

NMDC (down 5.2%) and Coal India (down 3.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRAVITA INDIA has moved up from Rs 749.5 to Rs 1,982.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,232.5 (up 164.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,481.0 to 30,403.2, registering a gain of 41.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 115.7%), Hindustan Zinc (up 81.7%) and Vedanta (up 79.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 2.0%) and HCl Tech. (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Infosys.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,172.5 (up 0.1%). TCS and HCl Tech. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 79,167.0, registering a gain of 13,765.1 points (up 21.0%).

GRAVITA INDIA Financial Update...

GRAVITA INDIA net profit grew 29.4% YoY to Rs 680 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 526 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.1% to Rs 9,079 million during the period as against Rs 7,034 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GRAVITA INDIA reported 37.5% increase in net profit to Rs 2,041 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,485 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 26.4% to Rs 28,006 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAVITA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 53.1.
