GRAVITA INDIA share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 1,886.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,029.5 (down 1.2%).

Jindal Steel (down 2.1%) and SAIL (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRAVITA INDIA has moved up from Rs 692.2 to Rs 1,886.5, registering a gain of Rs 1,194.3 (up 172.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,630.2 to 31,029.5, registering a gain of 43.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 127.8%), NMDC (up 100.4%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 86.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,162.9 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 2.0%) and Power Grid Corp. (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,197.2 (down 0.4%). BPCL and Infosys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,162.9, registering a gain of 13,209.4 points (up 20.0%).

GRAVITA INDIA Financial Update...

GRAVITA INDIA net profit grew 29.4% YoY to Rs 680 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 526 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.1% to Rs 9,079 million during the period as against Rs 7,034 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GRAVITA INDIA reported 37.5% increase in net profit to Rs 2,041 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,485 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 26.4% to Rs 28,006 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAVITA INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.5.
