GOOD LUCK STEEL share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,205.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 32,257.4 (down 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are JSW Steel (up 0.5%) and Tata Steel (up 0.1%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 2.0%) and NMDC (down 2.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GOOD LUCK STEEL has moved up from Rs 573.6 to Rs 1,205.6, registering a gain of Rs 632.0 (up 110.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,596.4 to 32,257.4, registering a gain of 49.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 127.5%), Vedanta (up 96.3%) and NMDC (up 77.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,593.6 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (up 2.4%) and ITC (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,305.2 (up 0.3%). Bajaj Finserv and Hero Motocorp are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,075.8 to 82,593.6, registering a gain of 17,517.8 points (up 26.9%).

GOOD LUCK STEEL Financial Update...

GOOD LUCK STEEL net profit grew 25.9% YoY to Rs 360 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 286 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.4% to Rs 9,131 million during the period as against Rs 8,580 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GOOD LUCK STEEL reported 17.1% increase in net profit to Rs 878 million compared to net profit of Rs 750 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 17.6% to Rs 30,720 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GOOD LUCK STEEL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 28.3.
