GLENMARK LIFE SCIENCES share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 942.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 40,251.5 (down 1.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are J.B.Chemicals (up 0.6%) and Sun Pharma (up 0.1%).

HIKAL CHEMIC (down 5.8%) and CAPLIN POINT (down 5.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GLENMARK LIFE SCIENCES has moved up from Rs 638.6 to Rs 942.0, registering a gain of Rs 303.4 (up 47.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,644.7 to 40,251.5, registering a gain of 45.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 123.6%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 99.2%) and GSK Pharma (up 97.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,626.9 (down 2.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 6.0%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 5.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,990.5 (down 2.9%). Tata Motors and ONGC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 78,626.9, registering a gain of 12,167.5 points (up 18.3%).

GLENMARK LIFE SCIENCES Financial Update...

GLENMARK LIFE SCIENCES net profit fell 17.7% YoY to Rs 1,115 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,355 million a year ago. Net sales rose 1.8% to Rs 5,886 million during the period as against Rs 5,785 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, GLENMARK LIFE SCIENCES reported 11.5% increase in net profit to Rs 4,670 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,187 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 1.8% to Rs 21,612 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GLENMARK LIFE SCIENCES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 25.8.
