GENUS POWER share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 436.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 69,547.6 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Lakshmi Machine (up 4.2%) and Thermax (up 4.2%).

ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 7.2%) and Finolex Cables (down 1.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GENUS POWER has moved up from Rs 234.5 to Rs 436.7, registering a gain of Rs 202.2 (up 86.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,793.2 to 69,547.6, registering a gain of 42.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 109.8%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 106.6%) and Siemens (up 104.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,004.1 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 3.1%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,193.0 (down 0.1%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.2 to 80,004.1, registering a gain of 13,980.8 points (up 21.2%).

GENUS POWER Financial Update...

GENUS POWER net profit grew 73.1% YoY to Rs 842 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 487 million a year ago. Net sales rose 88.0% to Rs 4,869 million during the period as against Rs 2,590 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GENUS POWER reported 240.9% increase in net profit to Rs 1,010 million compared to net profit of Rs 296 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 48.5% to Rs 12,006 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GENUS POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 81.7.
