GENSOL ENGINEERING share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 980.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,947.1 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 3.8%) and Honeywell Automation (up 1.4%).

GMR Infra (down 0.9%) and BHEL (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GENSOL ENGINEERING has moved up from Rs 466.8 to Rs 980.0, registering a gain of Rs 513.2 (up 110.0%).

GENSOL ENGINEERING net profit fell {profitpercent} YoY to Rs 198 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs {profitnumberprev} million a year ago. Net sales declined {salespercent} to Rs 3,988 million during the period as against Rs {salesnumberprev} million in {quarterprev}.

For the year ended March 2023, GENSOL ENGINEERING reported 122.9% increase in net profit to Rs 248 million compared to net profit of Rs 111 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 144.8% to Rs 3,927 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GENSOL ENGINEERING, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 69.4.
