Force Motors Plunges 6%; BSE AUTO Index Down 1.8%

Force Motors share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 7,440.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 53,287.5 (down 1.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE AUTO index today are Hero Motocorp (down 5.6%) and Bajaj Auto (down 5.5%).

M&M (up 2.4%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Force Motors has moved up from Rs 3,432.2 to Rs 7,440.0, registering a gain of Rs 4,007.9 (up 116.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 36,172.0 to 53,287.5, registering a gain of 47.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Cummins India (up 107.7%), Motherson Sumi (up 99.3%) and M&M (up 96.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,506.5 (down 1.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (down 3.9%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,897.6 (down 1.7%). Hero Motocorp and Bajaj Auto are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 78,506.5, registering a gain of 14,631.6 points (up 22.9%).

Force Motors Financial Update...

Force Motors net profit grew 43.1% YoY to Rs 1,408 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 983 million a year ago. Net sales rose 7.8% to Rs 19,413 million during the period as against Rs 18,017 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Force Motors reported 190.3% increase in net profit to Rs 3,882 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,337 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 39.0% to Rs 69,921 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Force Motors, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.9.
