Force Motors Gains 7%; BSE AUTO Index Up 1.9%

Force Motors share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 7,226.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 59,532.3 (up 1.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE AUTO index today are Escorts (up 6.9%) and M&M (up 4.8%).

Motherson Sumi (down 0.7%) and MRF (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Force Motors has moved up from Rs 3,761.4 to Rs 7,226.6, registering a gain of Rs 3,465.2 (up 92.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 37,472.6 to 59,532.3, registering a gain of 58.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Bajaj Auto (up 130.4%), Cummins India (up 118.5%) and Motherson Sumi (up 105.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,408.6 (up 1.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 4.8%) and JSW Steel (up 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,768.5 (up 1.4%). M&M and JSW Steel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,596.8 to 84,408.6, registering a gain of 16,811.7 points (up 24.9%).

Force Motors Financial Update...

Force Motors net profit grew 66.1% YoY to Rs 1,197 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 721 million a year ago. Net sales rose 26.7% to Rs 18,849 million during the period as against Rs 14,876 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Force Motors reported 190.3% increase in net profit to Rs 3,882 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,337 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 39.0% to Rs 69,921 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Force Motors, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.2.
