Force Motors Gains 18%; BSE AUTO Index Down 0.1%

Force Motors share price has zoomed 18% and is presently trading at Rs 7,413.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 53,685.3 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE AUTO index today are Maruti Suzuki (up 2.0%) and Tata Motors (up 0.4%).

M&M (down 1.0%) and MRF (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Force Motors has moved up from Rs 3,389.4 to Rs 7,413.2, registering a gain of Rs 4,023.9 (up 118.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 36,383.8 to 53,685.3, registering a gain of 47.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Cummins India (up 107.6%), Motherson Sumi (up 105.7%) and Bosch (up 86.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,028.3 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Sun Pharma (down 1.9%) and Titan (down 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,365.2 (down 0.4%). Cipla and Dr. Reddys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,112.7 to 80,028.3, registering a gain of 15,915.6 points (up 24.8%).

Force Motors Financial Update...

Force Motors net profit grew 66.1% YoY to Rs 1,197 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 721 million a year ago. Net sales rose 26.7% to Rs 18,849 million during the period as against Rs 14,876 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Force Motors reported 190.3% increase in net profit to Rs 3,882 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,337 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 39.0% to Rs 69,921 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Force Motors, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.7.
