Eveready Industries share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 441.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,210.0 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.2%) and Bajaj Electricals (up 1.9%).

AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 0.5%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Eveready Industries has moved up from Rs 338.1 to Rs 441.5, registering a gain of Rs 103.4 (up 30.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,308.7 to 58,210.0, registering a gain of 37.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 149.5%), Blue Star (up 120.4%) and Voltas (up 72.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,712.1 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 2.9%) and JSW Steel (up 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,361.3 (up 1.0%). Eicher Motor and Grasim Industries are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,712.1, registering a gain of 13,758.6 points (up 20.9%).

Eveready Industries Financial Update...

Eveready Industries net profit grew 18.1% YoY to Rs 294 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 249 million a year ago. Net sales declined 3.9% to Rs 3,494 million during the period as against Rs 3,636 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Eveready Industries reported 141.7% increase in net profit to Rs 668 million compared to net profit of Rs 276 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 1.0% to Rs 13,143 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Eveready Industries, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 45.0.
