Engineers India share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 263.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 75,297.4 (up 2.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GRINDWELL NORTON (up 5.3%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 4.5%).

SKF India (down 1.3%) and Honeywell Automation (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Engineers India has moved up from Rs 148.5 to Rs 263.6, registering a gain of Rs 115.1 (up 77.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 42,459.1 to 75,297.4, registering a gain of 77.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 228.3%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 161.3%) and Bharat Electronics (up 152.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,328.5 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Titan (down 2.6%) and Bharti Airtel (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,831.2 . Titan and Bharti Airtel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,355.7 to 81,328.5, registering a gain of 14,972.8 points (up 22.6%).

Engineers India Financial Update...

Engineers India net profit fell 42.9% YoY to Rs 896 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,569 million a year ago. Net sales declined 8.5% to Rs 8,051 million during the period as against Rs 8,801 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Engineers India reported 0.4% increase in net profit to Rs 3,442 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,429 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 14.3% to Rs 33,282 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Engineers India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 41.1.
