EVEREST ORGANICS share price has plunged 7% and is presently trading at Rs 143.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 40,920.8 (down 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Divis Laboratories (down 2.6%) and Biocon (down 1.8%).

AJANTA PHARMA (up 3.1%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 1.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, EVEREST ORGANICS has moved up from Rs 118.0 to Rs 143.3, registering a gain of Rs 25.3 (up 21.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,819.2 to 40,920.8, registering a gain of 47.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 130.6%), GSK Pharma (up 100.5%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 95.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,103.9 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 1.5%) and M&M (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Infosys.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,157.1 (up 0.1%). TCS and M&M are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 79,103.9, registering a gain of 13,702.0 points (up 21.0%).

EVEREST ORGANICS Financial Update...

EVEREST ORGANICS net profit fell 48.7% YoY to Rs 1 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.7% to Rs 526 million during the period as against Rs 508 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, EVEREST ORGANICS reported 115.9% decrease in net profit to Rs -2 million compared to net profit of Rs 11 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 7.4% to Rs 1,574 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of EVEREST ORGANICS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 824.7.
