EVEREST ORGANICS share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 167.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 38,428.4 (down 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 4.5%) and ALEMBIC PHARMA (up 3.2%).

MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (down 1.6%) and AJANTA PHARMA (down 1.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, EVEREST ORGANICS has moved up from Rs 123.4 to Rs 167.9, registering a gain of Rs 44.5 (up 36.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 25,922.2 to 38,428.4, registering a gain of 48.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Glenmark Pharma (up 107.0%), Lupin (up 101.6%) and Cadila Healthcare (up 100.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Nestle (down 1.8%) and Bajaj Finance (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Power Grid Corp..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,292.4 (down 0.1%). Nestle and Bajaj Auto are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,344.2 to 79,801.5, registering a gain of 14,457.3 points (up 22.1%).

EVEREST ORGANICS Financial Update...

EVEREST ORGANICS net profit fell 48.7% YoY to Rs 1 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.7% to Rs 526 million during the period as against Rs 508 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, EVEREST ORGANICS reported 115.9% decrease in net profit to Rs -2 million compared to net profit of Rs 11 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 7.4% to Rs 1,574 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of EVEREST ORGANICS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 966.6.
