ELPRO INTER share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 106.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 65,819.0 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Thermax (up 3.8%) and Carborundum Universal (up 2.5%).

SKF India (down 5.7%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (down 1.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ELPRO INTER has moved up from Rs 79.0 to Rs 106.5, registering a gain of Rs 27.5 (up 34.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,009.5 to 65,819.0, registering a gain of 37.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 101.1%), Siemens (up 95.5%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 93.4%).

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,527.8 (down 0.1%). BPCL and ITC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,259.5 to 77,512.9, registering a gain of 12,253.5 points (up 18.8%).

ELPRO INTER Financial Update...

ELPRO INTER net profit grew 144.0% YoY to Rs 475 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 195 million a year ago. Net sales rose 170.5% to Rs 1,393 million during the period as against Rs 515 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, ELPRO INTER reported 78.3% increase in net profit to Rs 855 million compared to net profit of Rs 479 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 108.4% to Rs 2,565 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ELPRO INTER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 15.9.
