ELPRO INTER share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 106.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,832.0 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 8.9%) and AIA Engineering (up 1.4%).

SKF India (down 3.9%) and TIMKEN INDIA (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ELPRO INTER has moved up from Rs 65.0 to Rs 106.9, registering a gain of Rs 41.9 (up 64.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,332.6 to 71,832.0, registering a gain of 65.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 187.9%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 140.3%) and Bharat Electronics (up 126.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.3%) and Tata Motors (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,146.7 . Hindalco and HCl Tech. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 79,059.3, registering a gain of 13,657.4 points (up 20.9%).

ELPRO INTER Financial Update...

ELPRO INTER net profit grew 144.0% YoY to Rs 475 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 195 million a year ago. Net sales rose 170.5% to Rs 1,393 million during the period as against Rs 515 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ELPRO INTER reported 95.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 479 million compared to net profit of Rs 10,567 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 70.0% to Rs 1,231 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ELPRO INTER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 16.0.
