ELPRO INTER share price has zoomed 20% and is presently trading at Rs 124.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,510.3 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Graphite India (up 3.7%) and AIA Engineering (up 3.6%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 3.4%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ELPRO INTER has moved up from Rs 63.0 to Rs 124.0, registering a gain of Rs 61.0 (up 97.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,202.8 to 72,510.3, registering a gain of 67.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 203.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 150.5%) and Bharat Electronics (up 133.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,449.8 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (down 1.6%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,274.7 (down 0.4%). Adani Enterprises and NTPC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,846.5 to 79,449.8, registering a gain of 13,603.3 points (up 20.7%).

ELPRO INTER Financial Update...

ELPRO INTER net profit grew 144.0% YoY to Rs 475 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 195 million a year ago. Net sales rose 170.5% to Rs 1,393 million during the period as against Rs 515 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, ELPRO INTER reported 95.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 479 million compared to net profit of Rs 10,567 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 70.0% to Rs 1,231 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ELPRO INTER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 18.6.
