DLF Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.8%

DLF share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 811.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,554.1 (down 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Godrej Properties (up 0.6%) and OBEROI REALTY (up 0.2%).

Phoenix Mill (down 8.3%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 3.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, DLF has moved up from Rs 530.3 to Rs 811.6, registering a gain of Rs 281.4 (up 53.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,604.3 to 7,554.1, registering a gain of 64.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 122.2%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 118.9%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 92.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,572.0 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (up 2.9%) and SBI (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,257.1 (up 0.3%). Shriram Transport and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 79,572.0, registering a gain of 15,522.9 points (up 24.2%).

DLF Financial Update...

DLF net profit grew 196.6% YoY to Rs 10,434 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,518 million a year ago. Net sales rose 46.5% to Rs 19,750 million during the period as against Rs 13,477 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, DLF reported 48.1% increase in net profit to Rs 16,304 million compared to net profit of Rs 11,009 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.9% to Rs 64,270 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DLF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 84.1.
