DLF Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.0%

DLF share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 863.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,582.6 (up 2.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Brigade Enterprises (up 3.2%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 2.4%).

Over the last one year, DLF has moved up from Rs 479.9 to Rs 863.6, registering a gain of Rs 383.8 (up 80.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,282.5 to 8,582.6, registering a gain of 100.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 236.8%), Sobha (up 222.3%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 129.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,716.4 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (up 2.3%) and Indusind Bank (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,900.9 (up 0.3%). BPCL and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,355.7 to 81,716.4, registering a gain of 15,360.7 points (up 23.1%).

DLF Financial Update...

DLF net profit grew 24.7% YoY to Rs 3,393 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,720 million a year ago. Net sales declined 4.3% to Rs 13,624 million during the period as against Rs 14,232 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, DLF reported 48.1% increase in net profit to Rs 16,304 million compared to net profit of Rs 11,009 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.9% to Rs 64,270 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DLF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 125.9.
